Who is Sasha Myers?

Sasha Myers is the Principal of Abramson Sci Academy! Ms. Myers is A proud first-generation college graduate and University of Florida alum, Go Gators! Ms. Myers’ journey is rooted in perseverance, excellence, and a deep belief in the power of education. Originally from Jamaica, she immigrated to the United States at 12 years old and, since then, has committed her life’s work to ensuring young people have the opportunities, support, and community they need to thrive.

Ms. Myers joined the Abramson Sci Academy family in 2015 and has served our scholars and community in multiple roles, including English I & II Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Reading Interventionist, and Assistant Principal. Her ten years of dedication have allowed her to deeply understand what it takes to pursue our mission and build a school community rooted in partnership, pride, and scholar success.

As she steps into her role as School Leader, Ms. Myers is excited to continue building on Abramson’s legacy and strengthening the school’s college-going identity. She believes deeply in cultivating strong personal and academic habits that prepare scholars not only for college, but for life. She is committed to partnering closely with families to ensure every scholar has access to the strongest postsecondary options available.
